A Dead Love
I'm not the little girl you knew anymore. She's dead and you're to blame. I watched her soul fade slowly. I don't even remember her name... You haunted my past life, drove my wrist upon that knife. But the fear gave way to hate. We can't go back now, it's too late. Do you even know what you did?! You tore that girl apart, until she ran and hid! I really did love you, I know that much is true. The first love I ever felt, and maybe I still do. But I can't keep getting hurt, I won't let you treat me like this! I used to have such joyful eyes, now just a dark abyss. I think the thing that hurts the most, the part I can't get past, is that I really believed that you loved me. I believed that we would last. I stayed and waited for so long, but I couldn't take always being told I was wrong.
