I should be thankful for the wife that I love, Instead I complain to the Lord up above. I should be thankful for my health and my sight, Instead I complain over each little plight. I should be thankful for the trials and tests, Instead I complain that God doesn’t know best. I should be thankful I can praise God and sing, Instead I complain o’er each trial life brings.
