Lines In the Sand
Dancing in circles by the light of the fire; Sparking mans lust that burns with desire. Intoxicating creatures possessed by the moon; Their pulling him down so they may consume. Chanting their magic and casting their spells; Calling their master from the dark place he dwells. Diminished resistance negated by wine; Clouds the decisions and alters the time. The orgy begins man springs as a beast; Like an uncontrolled hunger that calls him to feast. Reeling with pleasure and out of control; He'll never notice the taker of souls. From out of the fire he has emerged; While the deal for mans soul is soon to be purged. The struggle of man is his beast from with-in; It's a battle unbalanced that man may not win. The beast masters army, hooded in black; Have come to destroy him with a frontal attack. Screaming in terror as if in a dream; A voice keeps repeating "you know what it means". Oh God I can't do this, all on my own; Please wont you help me find my way home. Such are the lines that are drawn in the sand; The choices are yours, so where do "you" stand.
