Stepping Up
I learned a valuable lesson today, when i happen to come across yesterday, for whatever reason it pops back into my mind, quite often it returns to make me realize, a reminder of where i was to where i am now, and through all of those memories what my heart has found, God shut some doors for new tomorrows, and has opened my heart through many sorrows, i thank God for every experience and every change, and every person he's sent to help me along the way, i look back, and all i can say is thank you, even when the experience wasn't pleasant...it most likely wasn't about you, and if the experience was bad, it was only a reflection, of myself, or what i didn't want to be, because i knew it would affect me, at times, when i bump into memories past, it blows my mind back to when i couldn't grasp, to what i can now see clearly, my approach, my reactions...in my heart how you've changed me, how sometimes through boldness, we need the change, moving past fear to step up to the plate.
