Ego Or Shadow
I know not your name but I know when you’re here, infecting my mind while you whisper in my ear, making me feel I’m not worthy of love, making me feel like I’m cursed from above, but the worse thing I do is I listen to you, especially when the words that you spew are not new, you’ve fed me for years with your fear and your lies, what is it you want? I suspect my demise, or maybe you just want me to be all alone, no knocks at my door or calls on my phone, if this is round one I’ll admit that you’ve won, I used to have friends and now I have none, I used to go out and now I stay in, I used to have muscles and now I am thin, I used to know joy but now its just fear, Such rejection I feel whenever you’re near, but before you claim victory and the ref rings that bell, there’s no way in this world that I’ve been through such hell, to finally expose you and still let you be, for its time for me now to be happy and free…
