Quietly I Wait
( QUIETLY I WAIT ) The anticipation is agony, as i sit at the table. My mood is excited, but my emotions are not stable. The results are getting closer, patiently I wait. I dream of what the future might hold, what could be fate. The waiting time seems like hours, visions enter my head. I picture myself years from now, so many images instead. Smiles cross my face often, tears swell up inside. I wish this test would hurry up, this long suspending ride. I start pacing the floor a lot, thinking it might do the trick. The only thing that its done so far, is make me feel sick. Sweat starts to form up top, my forehead is dripping. My bodies temperature is getting hot, i feel like slowly stripping. Here goes nothing, the results are finally done. I walk into the bathroom, my nerves are on the run. I slowly open my eyes, tears fall as I cuss. Im going to be a mommy, the results show a plus.
