I Can'T Love That Way
Every morning I try not to remember the way I cried, the way I loved you the way you lied. Every day a little better, I feel the sunshine and find my way home, one day at a time it's another good sign. So please be free and stay away from me. I know you're unafraid and can’t be blamed, but I can't love that way. I can't stay and bleed, I need to breath, I need to be me, there is not a lot to say I can't love that way. The words are long gone scattered like leaves as soon as they fall, gone with the breeze, released, once and for all. Gone to the shadows, to lie in the dark, to heal, to steal back the heart that was torn apart. It won’t be the same but I can’t love that way. So goodbye All that was promised.. Goodbye It was only a dream.. Goodbye There’s nothing to say.. Goodbye Cause I can’t love that way.
