Halved In Two
Here I am split in two one half fluent, other not the other that's non fluent it's one that puts me on the spot On the spot I frequently am when the tongue hits a block no amount of clean air helps it just seems to be full lock This effects confidence and hope one thinks what can I do? I've been treated over the years no therapy seems to fit my shoe But you learn how to cope keeping quiet is great aid except inside you deteriate self esteem tends to fade Thankfully the other half of me lifts me up for my rescue transferred I am for a while not to last so nothing new This is my life's lot battle on to end whatever my half as poetry writing helps me relax maybe I'll become a giraffe! AUTHOR NOTES: 'split personality', just my thoughts on being two persons in one body, one being fluent and the other non fluent.
