Game Arcade Game
Remember how the little triangle with its broken butt Would shoot out bright bullets and shatter the approaching rocks Into smaller pieces with a glorious sound And how we boosted across the screen with a little rocket blast And how it kept on moving turn around reverse thrust stop Little flying saucer would appear and spray dots at us But we destroyed it with skill and reflex – just doing our job How we climbed the ranking to top from last How we would strut our stuff as friends would gather round As down at the arcade we stood around the box Remember how the big old ape Would roll barrels down at us How we fought and climbed with jump and fuss To get to the escape Remember saving planet earth From missiles coming down How the big ball spun under our palm As we launched our counter-strike Pointing the little cross in front the of the falling bomb And our big circle blast crown Consumed the imminent dearth Our coins dropped into the slot The music sang like our hearts We would play for hours on end To get our three letter acronym name To the top, right up there An honor at which our friends would stare Ah how we played the game With purpose and intent How many times we pressed the starts To shoot another dot
