God Weeps
God Weeps Today God weeps for the man He created, Giving man his free will turned out ill-fated. In the Garden, He made it blissful with peace, With Satan at hand this all had to cease. God wept for man once before, In the end He destroyed them all, except Noah. Now man marries man and girl marries girl, This time God will destroy the entire world. God weeps as we do devastation to each other, God cries out when it becomes brother against brother. A shameful disgrace this world has become, We cover our eyes, we all play dumb. God sheds tears as He has promised us our fate, If this world doesn’t change, it will soon be too late. When God returns for us, he will continue to weep, Until He cleanses all sin from among His sheep. Straight from His heart these tears must flow, Because God Sent His Son to pay the debt we owe. God weeps for us each day as He looks down, He will continue to weep until we hear the trumpets sound. ©2009 Lynn B. Glover
