How she must weep tonight seeing young children racing for her border, Seeking sanctuary from nations that seemingly lack a sense of order. She weeps seeing the disregard of the Constitution by inept politicians, And their deceitful attempts to destroy our God-given rights and traditions. How Miss Liberty must weep seeing the way her heroic veterans are treated, Many lonely, ignored and dying from the scars of wars left untreated. In this land of plenty she weeps seeing the hungry and dispossessed, Their hopes now dashed in what was once the pursuit of a noble quest.
