Speak the Truth In Love
When the name of your Jesus Gets dragged through the mud What do you feel inside? Hatred or love? Does your heart become angry With the falsely spoken words? Or does it burn with compassion For the ones who can't see Jesus is the cure? The cure for our illness The cure for our sin The cure for our selfishness The hurt and anger within Do you defend to the death For what He already died? His TRUTH can stand on its own And behind us, has no need to hide Yes, stand for Christ Stand in His love Go the extra mile And point them above Don't show them a false Jesus By your representation of His name Show them you're different than others Not "better" - but not the same Show them your beautiful Saviour The one who gave His life for all And then it is their decision To walk away or answer the call
