Mature
7:09 PM 9 July 2014 Mature Looking down at my hairy chest I remember back whenit was bare. Skinny ribs that one could count and my pot belly was not there. So proud I was that I was growing a Mans mustache in elementary school. My hair was full and getting long blue jeans and converse shoes man did I feel cool. Running around on bikes with my buddy Greg chasing girls Listening to Ray Stevens sing about Mississippi squirrels Shooting 22s and bb guns at cans and bottles we found Feeling strong and invincible until some bully knocked us down Making out with my girl to air supply just letting my heart soar Summer romance hotter than the sun memories I cherish more and more Now my hair has migrated from the top of my head to my chest And my rib can't be seen and my belly's a mess My mustache connects with a beard and grey is replacing brown I walk more than I ride I like keeping touch with the ground Although my body has matured my mind and heart still grow I listen more and I learn from every lesson in tow My life was hard and full of stress but I would not trade one day It has made me who I am and who I am is here to stay I like who I have become not rich nor extremely wise But smart and witty kind and caring and full of many a surprise
