Pink Blossoms
When the chilly morn gets rainy there's a place that I go to there's a land I call my world which belongs to me and you Its the world of all is possible Its the world of make believe Its the place of pumpkin carriages Its the dreamland of a queen Its the world of Mary Poppins Snow White and the seven dwarfs Its the land of little mermaid where conched sea-shells play their songs When still dusk undress the moonlight there's a place that I go to there's this star which always travel all the way across the blue There's the dancing of a beauty and the warm arms of a beast There are splashes of a rainbow casting hues over palm trees As cold winter turns to summer and as autumn's fog greets spring every teardrop becomes dew soft on a fairy's gossamer wing And each frown becomes a laugh line in the blessing of today as I sit down on my porch swing just to watch the children play Life's lost garden births silk petals from wild thorns of yesterday as I water first pink blossoms clouds pass by in shades of grey.
