Ponder This
Say one day you were at work when your boss walks in You think that he is a jerk and hate that silly little grin But today ends up being even worse as you must stay late Inside your head at him you start to curse wishing him an ill fate The whole time you are so angry worsening with each new moment His whole entire point you just can't see as you continue on to vent But the time will soon be ending but the anger just won't go away For this is the message you've been sending for this whole entire stay When finally your boss comes back and by now you just want to go But he always knew of what you lack and his love he wanted to show For your time he handed you a check and on it $100,000,000 was written Something that you could never expect but oh boy now were you smitten But oh how bad you now feel about all those horrible things you said Half of them weren't real and the fact that you had wished him dead See you don't know what your reward will be trust me no one will complain But if within yourself this you see just a word of advice, that is particularly vain Psalms 40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha. It's All about the Praise I once knew a man from Nantucket who didn't believe in gravity's ways That didn't change gravity one single bit But that man from Nantucket he sure was having a fit
