Get Me Down
Get me down, I don't want to smile anyway. Take away such happy feelings, go ahead I didn't want to laugh anyway. Lose my heart in the gutter you walk in, go ahead I didn't want to love you anyway. Tell me you love me, then say that you hate me, I love the feelings of confusion in my mind. Give me a warm kiss, then slap me in the face, I've never felt such pain like that before. Say you love me, then go off with a good friend, go ahead, I didn't like him anyway. Get me down, when I'm up, Hold me underwater, while my bones dry up, and you feed me to the great white sharks, dark red fills bright blue. Laugh at my sickness, but when I tell you you frown and doubt my love for you, see me, lose me, close your eyes from me, not cause you hate me, but because you feel nasty in your heart. So go ahead, get me down, I didn't want to smile anyway, try to climb those tall walls I built not too long ago and hold yourself high thinking you're the almighty. Hell, woman you wouldn't know true love, if it came in and smack you in the face with a hot frying pan.
