The Cold Ocean Is a Mermaid's Home
Half human, half fish the mythical mermaid has inspired many to write memorable tales; and this beautiful and most gentle creature comes out of the water to seek new friends, to feel sunshine and with eyes kind of sad, she only attracts those humans who care. Towards noon, she sands on the water splashed-rocks and loudly sings to let everyone know that she longs for love again; even the curious seagulls stop croaking and flap their wings to applaud her...who wouldn't feel a tender emotion inside as her deplorable lyrics attest her sadness that the cold ocean is a mermaid's home and that she is allowed to inhale air for a little while? Shivering mermaid living in the deepest, gleaming water.... let me hug you sweetly and make you feel my warmth if others don't approach you and ask you to share your loneliness when no soul mate is there to run his fingers through your salty, messy hair; if I were a fish, I would be your sweetheart on the coldest nights, but being so different, doesn't mean that I dont love a kiss that truly delights!
