But America has sinned and rebelled against the laws he’s given! We’ve turned away from his righteous way of livin’! We haven’t listened to his prophets from long ago! And have brought his holy wrath upon our souls! The lord is righteous! But we’re covered with shame. And have brought dishonor to God’s holy name! We’ve been scattered, because of unfaithfulness! We have disobeyed God’s call for righteousness! God is merciful and forgiving, in spite of our rebellious way. We need to listen to his word, and what HE has to say! We have transgressed HIS laws, with those of our own. And have brought his judgment into our homes! The curses written by Moses, are coming upon us! Very soon, we shall see much disaster all around us! The God who brought Israel out of bondage, wants to free us! Just look at the many addictions that are with us! God, please hear the prayers, as your people call you! America is at a crossroads… And really needs you! Please don’t forsake us now! Please come and heal us!
