Father's Day
Father's Day He was sitting on a park bench all alone. He was thinking - why he had to be different from other kids. He didn't remember ever having a father. He couldn't understand why other kids had fathers and he didn't. He didn't have a father to watch him go play ball, or take him fishing. The rest of the kids were always talking about their fathers and all the fun they had with them. while the other kids went with their fathers he had to stay alone. He was looking up at the heavens and asked - why? All he remembered was his Mom always being with him. His father had abandon his Mom and him, when he was only a baby. He was still in school and at fifteen - he had found a part time job to help his Mother out. Today was Father's Day. He had gotten off early from work. He had bought a Father's Day card. He had a sad look on his face. At this time he got up and went home. His Mom gave him a hug and told him - dinner is ready. He smiled and gave her a hug and also the card and said - happy Father's Day Mom... 06/05/2014 Written by Lucilla M. Carrillo Note: Like this - there are many stories of Mothers that have to raise their kids alone. I was one of them, because some men or not responsible.
