Darlene
Many times Darlene i wondered if i would ever see you my friend Or if the friendship had been scarred beyond the point of being mend The thought would make me sad and the tears would fill up in my eyes I needed to tell you i loved you and i was sorry i made you cry I did not know where you were you disappeared without a trace Leaving behind memories that my heart couldn't erase Years passed and seasons changed Days went by that were never the same Until one day a day i couldn't ask for more My prayers were answered you walked in my door How it came to be you comming that day Was not important you were here to stay And with every passing moment that i am alive I will never ever again be the reason you cry I love you Darlene From 1979 now 2007 until the end
