Into the Sunlight
In soft smooth tones I hear your words "I'm falling in love with you." Catching your breath I dive along into your sunset into your opened treasure, gentle rays of light In strengthened spiritual heart You continue to shower courage, hope and dreams "I'm falling in love with you." Feeling your words falling stars onto me onto my heartbeat, opening my solitary cage Fearing sun-setting moments when darkness take away sunlight I fear of leaving you when life leaves this body "I'm falling in love with you." Seeing myself becoming a shooting star a shining one in the sky, shining only for you In the dimness of my vision when all understanding is lost You stay still by my side "I'm falling in love with you." Simple words taking away my breath as I feel my soul flying to the Heavens a star in the night sky, when everything else is dark... ...You'll See Me Smiling At You... -------------------------- Inspired by 'The Fault in Our Stars' Poem created: 12th May 2014 For Poem Contest: Into the sunsets
