Creating Families
Where did I come from asked a girl named Lori? Come sit down, said mom & I'll tell you a story. Once upon a time we dreamt of a day, that a precious little baby would come our way. We were so happy when our wish came true. We were blessed with a beautiful baby & that baby was you. Did I grow in your belly like other kids do? No, said mom, there was another plan for you. God picked a special girl for you to grow inside. What do you mean, said Lori with her eyes open wide? Mom snuggled closer to Lori & started to say, that families are created in many different ways. Our skin can look different & so can our hair but that doesn't matter, you just need to care. Lori looked up at mom, "I like what you said". Can you tell me this story every night at bed? Of course, said mom staring at her eyes so blue. I'd love nothing more than to tell it to you. So as you grow up remember this story, you are always our baby, our beautiful Lori.
