Gone Written At Age 16 After a Break Up
The candles burnt out the shimmering light has gone, You left me alone to give you’re your life to another one. From the moment we started I knew it would come to an end, Somehow I convinced myself all the cracks I could mend. Now I’m proven wrong alone and nursing a fragile heart, Wondering why couldn’t my dreams come true so we’d never part. It’s time I know to move on but will I ever love again. Do I want too, I know love makes me go insane. Though I know the search for that special someone to spend my life with must continue. This isn’t my first heartache of those I have had quite a few. Broken spirited but not yet defeated I know I have to go on. Although I may find it tomorrow I could be searching till my life is gone. But looking in the mirror I see my heart is broken and worn. But know it wont be long till its taken and someone else it will adorn.
