Reaching For a Hug
Unforgetable was that platform of passion where I rendered with hope my inaugural duet. A sheer emotion, our matchless mission as we rocked the stage in pure pirouette. All looked like a poem, an ode to the future. Alas I saw her! Dancing at the very peak of my pen... With rhymes as our rapture; fire and desires made our words so weak. Formalities faded into the twilight skies where the echoes of passion reverberted. Winks flew from two flowery eyes... to where the matters of our minds evaporated. An alluring aura was about to be born; stares took flight, looks began to grope... All left untouched were our scars and scorn... Twin hearts double-dared a forlorn hope. The sea waves and our whispers did chime; passion melted as twin bodies did snug the sand at the shore of a silent-clime... Arms opened wide, reaching for a hug. Dawn came knocking at the door of our eyes, whispers of the night has lost her pride. Dewdrops distilled from the blue skies... till the tears of our lost love dried. For First Date Contest.
