An Old Man's Walk With Nature
Springtime is here once again, as the animals scurry out of their dens. The trees are all budding with young fresh leaves, as the flowers are blooming making way for the bees. The taste of their necter is oh so sweet, the beauty of nature in his mind he keeps. Cubs are following their mama bear, as they play in the woods with not a care. Woodpeckers are pecking at an old rotton tree, hoping to spot a treasure to please. The birds are flying scattered all around, while digging for worms in a moist soggy ground. The squirrels are jumping from tree to tree, hiding in places knowone can see. An old man is resting on a hill up high, while taking it easy watching the clouds pass by. He loves to sit in the home of the wild, to watch the animals of the meek and mild. He talks to God in this peaceful land, confident his make will lead him by the hand. Someday soon he will see his wife's face, to give her a hug to love and embrace. This land will be their's Heaven to roam and be free, happiness for eternity they will someday be.
