My Testimony
I was born in a typical family. Raised in world of hidden pain. We went to church every weekend, but yelled between Sundays. I wanted to achieve perfection, wanted to impress the world. I was being ripped deep inside hoping no one saw what I would hide. I went to a revival for a week, found a new savior for me. Then there was a newfound perfection I thought I had to achieve. My heart became darker, each lie I hid. I couldn't bear it any more and fell into addictions. I slashed my wrists, tried to numb the pain. I told God there is no other way. I stepped back from his love told him I just give up. I wallowed in my lost ways became a lustful slave. Prayers were lifted up by my friends, it all seemed useless then. I found someone who helped me feel again. Once we parted ways I realized I needed the True HIM. I found myself at a church, feeling a strange heart tug. I have now fallen on my knees praying to God to give me peace. Every day I am healing, my testimony is growing. I know now that God is with me and this life is not in vain.
