Dream State
Last night as I lay my head to rest and quickly fell to sleep I was amazed and delighted that in my slumber, my Mom I did meet She looked so young and healthy, her wheelchair not in sight I blinked once and then again, trying not to cry, with all my might “Hello Babe” she said, in that wonderful caring voice I’d long since forgot “I’m here to help with your plight, well I will give it my best shot” I know you are in a quandary, not knowing which way to go Me and your loved ones up here, the right pathway we will show Go now, be strong and, shine like the beautiful star I know you are You will get what you have asked for and you will go far” I kissed her gently & bid her farewell & out of sleep I drifted I woke up feeling refreshed and so wonderfully uplifted Was it just a dream, it seemed so real, so I have got to accept it It was my Mom getting in touch whilst I was at my most receptive
