When Tears Fall To the Sky
In a forgettable world Where memories thrive Concealed sorrow lingers At its ubiquitous grave site Around every corner In a wandering conscience Rests a deceased pandemonium Forever unsilenced Snowy carnations survive From the moistening pain Falling from the figurative Eyes in our brain If only others could know The turmoil inside Yet afflicted drops fall to the Earth As if to run and hide Only to dry themselves And return to what is customary A universe parallel To this reminiscent cemetery If only these flowing reflections Could sprout wings and soar And seek out comfort and guidance As opposed to solitude and remorse But the day will come When your existence is called to subside When all that remains dismisses your mind A day when all of your tears will fall to the sky
