Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required As I rip the skin from my body it cracks and peels and I cast out and banish the old me, The torment and pain I've kept inside released for all to see but I know now all I can be, I'm shedding my old life ready to transform into a better version of myself, I wont be held back any longer by societies constraints or a lack of wealth, My old life peels away as I begin to put myself first, I see a transformation in me for this I thirst. I rip the old me out of myself its nothing but a slowly rotting desease, it was filled with self doubt and loathing and an overwhelming need to please, I wont bow to anyone anymore though I'll still care and support my friends in all they do, I'll put myself first and not change to suit others, then I know I can build my life anew. As the old me falls away it shrivels up and dies, The new me has removed all those who told me lies, My life is better now no longer am I manipulated or played for the fool, Though I know I'll put myself first, for others I'll still be there and never be cruel, With the old me laid dead I feed on its pain and torment learning its lessons to become strong, I'm now transformed its anew beginning where i know following my heart and dreams isn't so wrong.
