Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required When I Gave My Heart to Jesus… When I gave my heart to Jesus, I didn’t know what to expect! There were many things in my past, that I wanted to forget! As a young boy, there was one day that I made my decision! I wanted to live for Jesus and give him my full attention! I remember as a young boy, how I served God with a passion! As I look back now, this seems to some, as “old fashioned.” I remember how many times, I knelt before my bed to pray! I wanted to ask God to forgive my sins and wash them away! I remember the times I was excited to read the Holy Bible. I wanted to read about the true God! Not a false idol! I wanted to learn about the mighty deeds God did in the past. And wanted to hear about a treasure in Christ, that will last! I’m so thankful of the many memories that I had back then. As I get older, it seems harder to focus on all of this again! My prayer life doesn’t seem like how it used to be. And very seldom do I ask God to forgive me. I need to get back to the same God that I once knew! And allow his word to make my life renewed! Please Lord Jesus, come and fill me with your passion and desire! In all that I do, that I’ll lift your name up higher! Please come sweet Jesus! And light the Holy fire within! That I may fall in love with you, once again! You’ve proved yourself beyond all of my expectations! By your beauty, and the wonders of your salvation! For everything you’ve done, I want to thank you!
