Response From Agony Aunt
A depressed girlfriend you are no longer For out this you will grow stronger I understand your confusion Could your life be an illusion? My dearest girl it is plain to me There are some things you may not see The man that you have fallen for May not be quite who you adore You say he has been acting strange of late Yet a cause you cannot contemplate He does not answer when you call In fact he calls you not at all Perhaps he leads a double life And his “sister” is his wife When she asked you to refrain She meant, “Do not call again!” With your children he seeks no connection Maybe it is time for some reflection Perhaps the remodelling that was his plight Could be seen in another light? I wonder if, my dearest girl You have been taken by a churl A man whose intentions were less than pure Or has changed his mind, that’s for sure Now that He has had his way He now no longer wants to play. Another thing that concerns me Is perhaps your destiny… You say you this morning, you felt sick With longing just to see him, quick But could it be that as before Another father leaves your door? I really hate to be the one To shatter your dreams and spoil your fun But rather than foster dreams of moving in You should learn to love the life you’re in Someday perhaps you will meet a man A special person with whom you can Build a future, your knight gallant Kindest regards, Agony Aunt
