Chosen Dream
Time has passed and now I'm here, free from the pain and also fear. The life I live may not be easy, but sometimes life isn't so breezy. Life continues to turn around and this I vow to never hit the ground. It's ironic how life can get so crazy but then the memories begin to get hazy. The tears, the laughter and the anger too there’s nothing better than starting new. I love this life I'm living now, the unexpected yet I don't know how. I've learned a lot from this chosen dream, life isn't always how it may seem. I believe things happen but for unknown reasons, maybe it's something to do with the seasons. The song, the dance, and the laughter too but today my mind is set on you. I see the sky, the clouds so near, if only your voice I shall hear. A dream, a wish, a secret not told, it's only a memory that I must hold. Too far in the distance for I cannot see, if anything you want could it be me? As I drift before I close my eyes, I'll imagine your presence beyond the skies.
