I Only Want To Be Me
If I am I, who is me? I wish to understand, but I can't see. You're willing to talk to me, But you never talk to I. I am so confused, when you tell me to try! If it's not about me, than is it about I? I am so frustrated, that it makes me want to cry. Please will you tell me? I want you to try. I have responsibilities, still it's always up to me. I think and I think, I beg you please, explain it to me. Will I ever be, the one who's able to fly? You can take me somewhere, I don't think you can take I. I like spending time with you, I am pleased you like me. I love it even more, when it's just you and me You say that you know me, Still I am so much more. I have the answers, Yet it's me you're looking for. If only you'd take the time, I know you would see me, If I could explain Perhaps I would be free If you let me, I will show you so much more. I am the one knocking, It's me outside your door. For I am I, still somehow I am me. I can be anyone, Yet there is only one me.
