I wandered off from mum and dad Soon finding myself lost A six year old Yorkshire lad Must now pay the cost. Darkness deepens as does my fear eerie silence save for rustling leaves I shout MUM , DAD, but no one hears Doubt within me horror weaves. No moon, No stars , Just dark of night Each falling leaf I suspect It is then I see two whispers of light Two of the lords angels a little boy protect.
