Flesh
Here I sit Lord, surrounded by more than I have asked for. Could it be that this is not enough, could my flesh want more? For one minute I feel so blessed, the next I hate it all. I go from looking at your face, to looking at the wall. Tossed around, to and fro, from every little thing, and if I think of it, or have the time, then to you I sing. How is it Lord, I disgust myself, yet continue on this way, loosing sight and ignoring you, every other day. Why is it so hard to find the time for all that really matters, knowing, loosing sight of you is when my world shatters. Away from your word, it only takes a single day For me to forget your love and somehow loose my way. Please take my hand Lord, for I am but a child Help me tame my flesh, for it is much to wild.
