Devious Her Name
To think this girl someone I used to admire I ask was it not obvious or was I just lame? Little did I know she'd turn out to be a lire Because devious was her real name She had a look that was never misleading And a smile well, I'm sure I'm not the only guy Just another of those that she had believing Still every once in a while I ask myself why I'd always have to hide what I was feeling Though with her always felt like a mile high When I think about her lies and scheming Well their is certainly no denial the fool was I And this girl who once filled me with desire But oblivious to her constant mind game Someone who always liked to fuel your fire Because devious was her real name Written September 1999 about an exgirlfriend Just updated switched words around a little This is like a part one to web of deceit Written by myself David Scott
