Tragedy
Tragedy hit our lives one day, I dropped to my knees and began to pray, Early morning on July Twenty First, I would say that day, was my worst. I walked through our door, and down the hall Out loud his name I began to call, Hey where are ? no reply, dead silence, not a sound. I walked to the bedroom, I turned and looked down Finding him on his stomach, his face to the ground. I screamed oh my God, is he dead, But I could see that his blood, had drain to his head. I still tried to wake him, but all signs of life, gone, My life was shattered from that day on. The love we shared, was all I knew, From children to adults, together we grew He became my life, the day, I said I do, God, I loved him with my whole heart I thought we'd always be together, I never thought we'd be apart My love for him will be forever. I have such guilt for not being there Your death has been to much to bare,
