A Stone Eye Cannot See Love,
a stone eye cannot see love, but an open heart can search for love in all of the darkest corners of this dark world and see the boys and girls holding hands in the prairie lands picking flowers and baskets full of daises oh how love-so sweet as this- (it shall surpass in age -that love like this shall burn away with a one stone eye, a thousand are carved out of the earth) and those children in the prairie lands are lost in the lost lands of imagination and surrealism. Those little girls in the prairie lands (once with open-warm-hearts- now heavy with sadness -and stone eyes set ready) Those boys who picked daises near the river lane, now in suits and ties, smoking blue-eyed Death's last eternal cigarette oh how such warm-open-hearts turn to stone as love declines in a state of foolishness and greed we see love no more as morality but as a game to break lovers' hearts and watch them cry with our stone eyes. .12.27.2013.
