Faceless Visions
Stepping out of the darkness From a somewhat forgotten place Steps what looks like a man With everything but a face He steps out of a doorway Of an old rickety shack In torn up bloodstained overalls And a cowboy hat He came off the porch In full stride I heard him whisper something in tongues And spit smoke when he walk by A breeze of unpleasantness Came soon there after Followed by a strong smell of sulfur And intense laughter Then as the figure Got further away I saw him stop and turn around And murmur my name In voice I hadn't heard In a very long time It triggered a memory from my childhood Buried deep with in my mind A one that id forgotten And didn't know i had As it came to me whose it was It made me sad Tears came to my eyes And started to fall But turned to smoke When I started to ball Then the door of that rickety shack Flung wide open And i could see a bright black glow Of a fire that was heavily smoking And 2 glowing chains At lighting speed Grazed my face As it flew by me They went threw the figure And snatched him back Back into the fire Of that rickety shack I don't know if that was the end of that dream or not I'll find out tonight. And just since your probably wondering who or what that figure is or who I think it is from the voice I heard I truly believe it is my father who committed suicide when I was 10
