Clarity
Clarity By Kevin Robey November 20, 2013 Give my clarity, the means to fight Every day through the darkest nights Take my vanity and remind me when The demons leave my prison within Just take away every day I lost Like frozen tears set on defrost Make them new, remember light Ignite my fire, restore my sight I don’t know what you see Every day you look at me I don’t care, I’m free of vanity Insanity release, let me be free Finally realize what I despised The man I am, free of disguise It’s over now, but not in the clear This honesty will return my fears If nothing else, just one more day Return to me from what I strayed It’ll be just fine to boldly redefine Bury the past, let the scars realign I’ll think of all the brave smiles I wore The childhood dreams that I have ignored When demons return with vengeance and knives I’ll shine my bright eyes, and forever feel alive
