One Nation Still Under God
Having fallen asleep so long long ago Now in what we steep you just don”t know With such closed minds and a deeply hardened heart It”s the Spirit who reminds us to get back to our start Drifting so far we lose our way Losing who we are as we forgot how to pray So now evil thrives and has taken the controls We need God back in our lives to reawaken our souls Yet so many are blind and can not see For their very own mind is now no longer free Quickly swept away by a current so strong What Jesus would say is for what we should long Oh awaken this great Land for God shed His Grace on thee Speak up and take a stand and help others begin to see But we can not do this alone as we have tried in the past For it is only His Holy Light shone that is ever going to last
