Always Would Enjoy
I had already experienced being hard-pressed So took some time and my sins confessed And was blessed by God for doing and being Someone like me nice and worth seeing. Simple and plain was life which I led; Said all my prayers before going to bed; Thanked God for the little that I now had And being with my wife was always glad. In church, I sat in the very front pew Like humble and observant people do; Always ended up praising God each day Even though on one I will pass away. Not much do I have to leave behind And to the fact I have become resigned A message to me God had just sent; Soon you will understand what I meant. I finished all things that God did ask; Helped everyone by completing each task; Wife was nice and no one would she annoy And when near me whole world I did enjoy. James Horn, Bolivia, NC
