That First October Day
That first October day The sky was no longer grey The birds were still singing, never did they fly away It was the day that I first met you, Your handsome smile took my breath away And I knew that in that moment that Everything was going to be okay That first October day I felt that I was on cloud nine The moment that I saw you, I'd knew that you would be forever mine That first October day I had a tingle all through my spine The day was so beautiful, so full of sunshine That first October day I felt you kiss me so passionately Held me so tight in your arms Feeling safe and protected; away from harm That first October day It was love at first sight And I made a promise to myself That I would forever love you Every single morning, noon and night
