The ability to stand tall and then rise, soaring over the beast, shaded below. Our memories of sickness and sorrow faded until our tomorrows are crowned in wreaths of laurel. We are survivors! The beast cannot shred our blooming floral spirits - our beauty, strength, resolve comes from our mother’s fight in this long battle. We, who once walked alone, take flight together on our promise to triumph in pink. We will leave a legacy of unity to our daughters. We will not grieve for the days before the noise in our heads became deafening. We will seize the pink skyline and savor the silencing of our fears.
