Haunted By the Past
I’ve felt every pain I’ve been driven insane My insides haunt me Nightmares are all I see I can’t say that I’m stronger But I found out who I am I don’t know if I can hold on much longer But I’m learning to be a man Was it all my own idiocy Or was I lost in love’s fallacy Do I live with my own regret Or should I forget we ever met I can’t say that I’m stronger But I found out who I am I don’t know if I can hold on much longer But I’m learning to be a man Sometimes I can’t get past all the hell I’ve been through But I know that it’s all gotten me to you Sometimes I get haunted by my past But through it all I know your love will always last I know she’ll always have that part of me But my future is still ahead of me I know I’ll always have my past But my friends and family will always last So get away from me! I can’t say that I’m stronger But I found out who I am I don’t know if I can hold on much longer But I’m learning to be a man
