Evil My Lover
Okay, EVIL You have reached out to me You have touched me, if you will But what has been your purpose? You have never made me rich, nor famous Or tempted me to sell my soul to the devil Yet I have seen you 3 times Will I ever know why, you have revealed your presence to me? At times, I have been in pain And my soul has cried out If you do this for me.... Then I will do your bidding But you have never given me What I truly desire... I am in love And in pain With a man who does not love me Won't you please let me catch him cheating? Will you let me break the spell He has put over my heart Because my love for him is like a poison An arsenic And it is slowly and steadily killing me inside To catch him cheating Would be like breaking The glass that encloses my heart I would no longer be inside looking out No longer enclosed in a hard walled prison of pain I'd truly be free Because cheating has been The only hammer that has broken The chains of love that shackles my foot steps The glass of my heart When it breaks, may hurt It may even be cut and bleed But like the animal caught in a bear trap I bite viciously and try to amputate The limb that enslaves me Will the shackles Oh, truth Where is thy freedom? Oh, pain Where is thy release? Unfaithfulness is painful that's true But betrayal that you can sense, but never see is worse How can you grieve properly So, man who is lucky in your cheating games When will you be unlucky When will your luck run out And when will My freedom begin?
