Magic Willow
There once was a boy and a magic willow tree For in this tree the boy was all that he could be The tree was old and strong And together is where they belong The branches hung low but the tree stood high And together the boy believed they could fly Adventures would arise Many bad guys found there demise The tree was a space ship ready for flight To take the boy far out of sight The tree was a fort Or a big ship coming to port The tree was a jungle gym Letting the boy swing from limb to limb When the boy ran out of imagination This was not cause for hesitation He still had yet to reach the top Maybe a little afraid of the drop But with this tree nothing was impossible No adventure was ever stoppable The higher the boy climbed The more the world shined As the top grew near Far was he from fear Together they saved the day And all along it was just play There came a time when the tree had to go The boy was sad, but he did not know That where this tree once stood, many more would grow
