Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required The woods welcome me, listening to the silence of nature, waiting for the raucous sound as I disturb the sleeping inhabitants, smiling as through the early mist I spy the bewildered eyes of the tree inhabitants as they hold on tightly to the swaying branches that a squall has caused. Looking down through squinted eyes I carefully place each shoe, trying not to destroy natures carpet, grass wet, with glistening morning dew, a bathroom for all insects, and a water fountain for many. Mice run hither and thither wary of the birds of prey waiting to swoop from the branches above, they are looking for not wanting to be breakfast. pools of new morn dew ready to revitalise .... boosting energy I see nature as though in a dream a palette of natural colours, blending itself so not even the drab looks dull, the many shades spells nature at its best, mesmerising me, a visual collection of art for the taking. colours of living autumn shades announce deaths knell ...... small shoots await spring.
