In the beginning There was naught And I mean zilch, Nothing at all How true is this ? As if truly nothing was Nothing at all, Then it would have remained so Forever, and ever And we would`nt be here at all ! But then not even forever could have existed. Because if there truly existed nothing, nothing at all, And so nothing to see time by Not even time itself could have been. Therefore, because know I exist. I must insist, And in the beginning, there had to be something. and I call it God. Let`s say it was not there, There was no God to will it all unfold, Or it does not at all exist. When the first thing that existed, existed, Whatever that might have been. Well, then either that first thing that existed itself was God Or something else, Well, say that, that something else was something but not God That something that existed was static or not static, Because something completely static cannot change Then we would not have existed either, In that case. As it would have existed like it was forever Still not even forever could exist, As time could not in any way be seen As there was no change in that something. So that something which was not God and had to be changing Moreover, if it was so changing, It could only have changed into something From something else. So at a bare minimum for us to exist. And exist we do, There must have been something and changing at that. And if changing what type of change was it ? And what was the will for this change? Or the reason for the change ? A good excuse, For an other poem!
