Should I be surprised to find this kind of love even in looking straight into the eyes of my most beloved dog? Then is it so different to look into a child's eyes to view deep inside and see the sweet, innocent joy from everlasting youth that comes from a trusting childlike heart, soul and mind? When one views with their spiritual eyes the beauty of the land, mountains, trees, and the sandy beaches touching the water's edge? Is it then so hard to believe that we could really leave all of this true beauty behind us? That these great wonders would always seek to find us where we live, or is it the other way around? Do we not understand that the Lord's spirit, love, strength, courage and beauty resides not only within us but what is in God's other creatures and creations that surround us?
